    Hello

I am having problem with the Conditions editor part of BRE Composer.

The Condition editor is not showing the conditions fully when I move the slider horizontally, i.e. it truncates.
Is there any registry shortcut or other approach to enable more viewing area on conditions editor.

    any help would be appreciated.

    thanks

I tried this just now on BizTalk Server 2006 R2 to see if I got the problem, but the horizontal scrolling looks fine. What version of BizTalk are you using and what version of Windows?

Also, could you provide more information on what you mean by "it truncates"? Does the text get all jumbled up together or does the scrollbar go away and the text gets cut off? Also, are you clicking the right arrow button or just clicking on the bar when the issue occurs?

    Thanks,

I had the problem before on BizTalk Server 2004 (with XP) and now with BizTalk Server 2006 Enterprise Edition(with XP).

It truncates, i.e, I can scroll it to right, I can scroll to some extent after that it doesn't scroll though there is text (ends with say, 'and namespace-'). No jumbling etc, scrollbar is still there, but it reaches the end, touching the right arrow..  If the condition's length is short, I can scroll horizontally couple of times, it will show up properly, no truncation.

I tried to use both arrow button and horizontal bar, no difference from either.

I noticed this behavior before on my colleagues machines too.

    thanks

We are having the same problem.  The “truncation” is only noticed when you have a partiularlyt long condition or rule.  It does not actually tuncate but the right side of your rule is not visible or editable in Rules Composer.  We opened a ticket with MS over a year ago but still no change.  Our work around is to build the rule from the right so the finished elelments are the first to scroll out of reach.  The hard part is you can never see the entire rule, so if you make a typo in entering it your out of luck.  Our agency is considering replacing BizTalk for this reason.

Well I can't give a solution to this except reporting this to Microsoft. Lets hope it gets solved in the next version. I don't have the BTS 2009 installed anyone who can try this on BTS 2009 and see if this is fine?
