Issues when configuring the exception Web services component
Issues when configuring the exception Web services component
- I am getting the following error when trying to configure exception webservice in ESBConfiguration tool during esb toolkit installation.
Exception retrieving member "Create": "The system cannot find the path specified.
I installed Biztalk Server 2009 successfully on Windows XP and installed all MSIs of ESB Toolkit successfully. When trying to configure the BizTalk ESB Toolkit Core services and components i am getting above error. I am using domain account as user account. VS 2008, SQL Server 2008 and BizTalk 2009 running on the same machine (Windows XP).
I spent two days already on this one. Can any one help me out?

- Hi sanjay, When using the ESB Configuration Tool during initial installation, you must apply configuration changes to each section before you can continue to configure the next section. This process also validates each configuration section before you continue. Configuration of these sections must be completed consecutively. Check whether the user is member of "IIS_WPG" group

Just a remind, Install&Develop BizTalk in Windows XP is not recommended. There will be a lot of limitation if you install BizTalk in Windows XP. for example. Only Sql Server 2008 express edition can be installed in XP. while express edition is not recommended that is list in document

You can installed VPC in your native windows xp and then install a Windows 2008/2003 in VPC to run BizTalk.

Hi Satish,
I provided my domain account credentials and my domain account is the administrator on the system and the member of the following groups
BizTalk Application Users
BizTalk Isolated Host Users
BizTalk Server Administrators
BizTalk Server Operators
I even tried with local user account. I created a new user and added user to above groups. I still had an issue. Am i missing any thing here?
Exception retrieving member "Create": "The system cannot find the path specified." The system cannot find the path specified.
Do you know where the system is searching for?
Appreciate your help.
thanks,
Sanjay
