    Hi,
I'm pretty new to ESB and I'm in process of setting up BizTalk ESB ToolKit 2.0 on my box.  The configuration is Win Server 2003 EE with SP2, BizTalk 2009, SQL 2008, IIS 6.0.  While trying to configure the Exception Web Services, I'm getting the error "The specified network name is no longer available. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070040)"

and the details logged in the EsbConfigurationTool.log is,

ESBConfigurationTool.exe Information: 0 : Executing script: databaseExistsSmoIntegrated.ps1 in view: ExceptionManagementDatabase with parameters: Key: serverInstance Value: blrkec77432d, Key: databaseName Value: EsbExceptionDb,

I'm using a local user account who is a member of the  Administrators and BizTalk Isolated Host Users groups.  Also, BizTalk 2009 has been configured with this local user account only.

Seems to me like a credential issue but I'm not able to figure out why.  I would appreciate any guidance on this issue.  Thanks in advance.

    Regards,
    Pandit.

I am also getting similar error. My system is in domain but I am using local account. When I try to configure exception web service, it shows error as no network provider accepted given network path error. When I try to configure with domain account. It gives me error biztalk isolated host user doesnt exist.
    Any help would be appreciated.

Please make sure .net framework 3.5 SP1 has been applied and lastly updated on this server. There is a known issue fixed in this patch which can cause this error.

    Wen,
Still no luck.  I have already installed 3.5 sp1 and also KB959209.  I'm getting the same erro as RohiniR has mentioned.  The system is on the domain and If I use a domain id, it says BizTalk Isolated Host user doesnt exist.  If I use a local id, it says No network provider accepted given network path.  I'm really lost.  Would appreciate any help on this.

BTW, I didn't get this from your message.  What do you mean by "lastly updated on this server".  Is it same as installing 3.5 sp1?
    Regards,
    Pandit.

    Folks,
I was able to get past this error now.  The issue was that the Server service was stopped.  The moment I started it, I was able to get beyond this error.

    Pandit.
