Hi.I have a doubt. My edi team gave me some sample files to compare with the EDI files which i am generating.

The thing is the sample files which i got have one sequence for the segements and the file which i am generating after batching is having another sequence of the records.Though its not an issue but its getting tough to compare.

    original sample file:

The thing is is there any chance that i can generate the files in a sequence as the incoming file.

    Thanks

The file will be processed in the order it received. Can you tell how do you receive the input message?

As a file and you create the EDI file by aggregating the inputs? If so, you should have custom logic to arrange the order based on the unique id. I see in XSL you have the option to sort the records based on any unique field.

    Thanks

Hi.I am dropping the flat file in a receive location which has a custom pipeline with flatfile disassembler then i am implemeting amap in the send port and dropping the output to a file location then i am picking the map output from that folder withanother receive location with a custom pipeline with batch marker component and xml dissassembler for batching and thensetting the filter conditions on another send port to drop the batched edi file.Everything is working fine but the thing is i amlosing the order as its specified in the incoming flat file.As its not a big issue since the generated EDI file is correct but i want torectify the issue so that it will be easy for me to compare the generated EDI files with sample EDI files given to me.

    Thanks
