    Would it be possible to use map in offline mode?

    No. Bing Maps needs the internet as there are several petabytes worth of data that power it. It's not something that would easily fit on a users device.

    I don't want to cache everything. Just some areas like for navigation application. What about custom tiles that are saved only localy?

    We don't make any guarantees around our caching whether it's our data or custom tiles. Attempting to run it in offline mode is unsupported; your mileage may vary.

    Would be great, if the tiles could be loaded from files:// or isolationstorage.

    Search through the forums. This has already been covered. It can be done but requires a lot of work.

    Bing Maps control for Windows Phone 7 does not support files:// or isolationstorage. That is why I'm asking this.
