The mapcontrol.css file now contains a definition for ".clear". Other selectors in this file also have the .MicrosoftMap selector so that they don't cause conflicts. Because .clear doesn't have this, and we define our own styles on .clear, our site is broken in production. Moreover, the styles in mapcontrol.css all have !important, meaning that we can't override these new styles. It looks like a bug in the CSS. Does anyone know about this?

I've escalated this to the development team yesterday and they are currently investigating. I believe that class was used before but most people didn't notice as it didn't cause any issues. Additional properties appear to be added to it which are now causing issues.

Any idea how long it might take until a fix is pushed out for this? This has caused a major breaking issue for us.

I'm unable to see this .clear CSS style anymore in the Bing Maps css files. A fix was supposed to be rolled out last night and it appears to be complete. Can you confirm that you are no longer seeing this issue. Note you may have to clear your cache (ctrl + F5)

Initially after you posted, I was unable to see the changes. The version number in the initial JS include was the same as before and so it loaded the same CSS as before. After checking today I see a new version number and a fixed stylesheet. Thanks.

Ya, we have a lot of data centers and servers behind Bing Maps. When we roll out code to our servers it can take a while for all the servers to sync.
