As far as I'm aware, there is no current public release date for a v7 AJAX control for the Chinese region.

In fact, according to various online articles (such as http://www.mingtiandi.com/web-development/20110413/google-maps-coming-to-an-end-in-china-as-censorship-spreads/), it is possible that all access to Bing Maps may be blocked by the Chinese government after July 1st, after the introduction of new laws requiring online mapping services to be granted licences from China's State Bureau of Surveying and Mapping or else be blocked from access from China.
