Combining Bing Maps with Google Places

Question

I wrestled over whether to use Bing Maps or Google Maps for some time.  I love the Bing Maps UI (zooming and panning are much slicker), but the Google Places component is unmatched.  After a while, I developed a hybrid approach that uses both.  Essentially, I use geo-location data from Google Places (search) and map directly onto Bing Maps (saving the appropriate data with the location).

Has anybody tried something similar?  Are there easier solutions?  To see my solution, visit our online health map.  I'm more than willing to share the pros/cons of this approach!

This is not allowed in the terms of use of Bing Maps or Google Maps. Mixing of platforms just can't be done legally.
