Lets Face it the performance of MS Advertising is very poor, unreliable and shows little sign of improving.
The eCPM rates have collapsed, because the advertisers have lost confidence. PubCentre remains US centric, with little regard for non US advertising or developers, with tedious ITIN tax paper work making payment
No wonder Google are the Masters dominating the online Adverstising space. Microsoft hasn't a clue. Google are a global company supporting developers from all counties with easy low friction payment mechanisms.

no way. Even with pubcenter problems I'm getting (a lot) more revenue from pubcenter than smaato+mobfox+inmobi+inneractive combined. I can't use admob (I'm on XNA-only games) but I doubt it'd be better. ( I'm located outside USA, and no problems at all yet. Support was a little slow but they're gradually improving.)
Ok I agree that per Impressions on PubCentre delivers more revenue than per Click. With this approach they have an opportunity to be much much better. But I don't see much evidence here of real dynamic energy, or support to improving pubCentre perofmance on a global sacel.
PubCentre is still very lax, in delivering up global Ads, outside the US/UK markets, and remain more bueracratic in payment/ITIN overheads for non US developers. With Smaato, I just needed to set up a PayPal account, and I started receiving payments.
I am keen for Micorosoft to succeed, because of their (up to now) great technology base and support to developers with great VS tools. However I remain very frustrated when they don't capitalise in the services and marketting of their technolgies.
