WSE 2.0 The signature or decryption was invalid

Question

I am using WSE 2.0 SP3, I need to connect to a Web service which implements WS Security;therefore, it needs the request encrypted and signed using a certificates with X509Data, and the response is encrypted and signed as well. We can not use WSE 3.0 because the Web service does not support HMAC algorithm.

Right now, I can create the response encrypted and signed using the certificates; however, when the response is processed I am getting the following message:

"The signature or decryption was invalid"

Perhaps you could use a different certificate?

I don't think so, we can change the certificates due to they were bought.
