Does Apps for Office would be available on Skydrive?

Hello,

I was wondering if I build an app for Word, will it be available for Word Web App as well? I signed up for the Word Web App Preview on Skydrive  but in the Insert tab I don't see an option for "Apps for Office".

Hi Matthieu,

The Word rich client supports task pane apps, and Word Web App currently does not support apps for Office.

This topic clarifies which types of apps for Office are supported by which Office clients and Office Web Apps:

Please look for "Table 1: Supported app types" in that section.
