With the release of WCF Data Services 5.0 today - has anybody used actions or can point to some documentation on it? Particularly in relation to Entity Framework?

Alex has started a 3-part series on this. You can see the first post on the main team blog here: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/astoriateam/archive/2012/04/10/actions-in-wcf-data-services-part-1-service-author-code.aspx

Okay we are up to part 2 of the series. Part 3 which will explain the EF implementation might take a little longer to pull together.
But in the meantime you can just review the sample code here: http://efactionprovider.codeplex.com/Have fun!
