I was reading that the MSDN Library is now available for download and that you don't need to be a subscriber to get it. Is this correct and if so where can I download it from.
Other question I have is: does the internet version of the MSDN on the Microsoft site do the job just as well or are you better having it plugged into your visual studio?

Hi Aladiw, the MSDN Library 2008 SP1 can be downloaded at http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=7bbe5eda-5062-4ebb-83c7-d3c5ff92a373 (Found that link through google). And the MSDN online has a few advantages: - always up to date - Community content available (e.g. comments of community) But the offline content is also very nice, because it does not require internet access and offers a nice index.
