I need to change a clients access database from .accdr back to .accdb so I can make modifications to the database. I have windows 7 but I can't see the file extention to change it.

Ultimately, I need to gain access to the tables in the database as I plan to redesign my database.

    Any suggestions?

Start Windows Explorer (for example by pressing WinKey+E).

Click Organize and select Folder and Search Options from the dropdown menu.

    Activate the View tab.

Clear the check box "Hide extensions for known file types".

    Click OK.
