Bookmarks Menu in VC Express 2010?

    Question

  • After a long process of finding and adding buttons I managed to make my own Bookmarks "toolbar" in Visual C++ Express 2010 (a toolbar that was readily accessible in 2008...) and I would love to have an actual menu of my Bookmarks next to my code.

Any way to do this in 2010 Express? Online help points to something that doesn't exist in my menus.

    Thanks,

    Zach

  • Have you enabled expert settings before you tried this? If you go to Tools->Settings and then select Expert Settings it should show options that were hidden previously. See if this helps you out.

  • Jeez, I've seen that option a million times but never made the connection that it might actually add more options... Thank you so much, I had always wondered why all the options were so pared down!

I must have spent at least an hour manually adding buttons over the last couple weeks...
