no imaging component suitable to complete this operation was found

WinXP SP3
C# 2010 Express
When I try to start C# 2010 Express (VCSExpress.exe) I get the following message, "no imaging component suitable to complete this operation was found"
I've checked though the forums and I've found examples of this error when people are running code, but not when trying to start VCS. I'm assuming the problem lies in something the IDE can't find, but I have no idea what it's talking about. The term "imaging component" is new to me, and is pretty vague.
I have downloaded and used VB Express without such a problem.
Any suggestions?

Try to do a repair/re-install and see if that clears it up.

Thanks. I've tried the repair and I've also uninstalled and reinstalled - the problem remains. I'll try the forum you recommended.David Morris
