Friday, March 07, 2008 1:23 AMFailed to Navigate to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\VC\VCWizards\AppWiz\Generic\Application\html\1033\default.htm
The operation could not be completed. Unspecified error.
The above error message appears when I open Visual C++ and try to create a new project. I have tried to uninstall it and reinstall, but no success.

Has anybody solved this problem??
The link above did not apply to the problem mentioned in this thread, and therefore did not help.

Monday, July 18, 2011 10:14 PMHave you tried to open the file manually? If the file is not there, you can search for it and make a copy and place it there. You may need to reinstall if you can not find it.

I used "Explorer" to manually go to the file. On my computer, I got no where near the file with the path you listed. If I use the same path with "Visual Studio 10" instead of "Visual Studio 9.0" I can find the file.
So your problem is "How do I tell the Project Wizard to use Visual Studio 10 instead of Visual Studio 9.0?"
Sorry I can't be of further help, I don't know the answer.
David
