Installing VC2008 Express after installing VC2010 Express on XP Professional x64

I've been trying to install VC2008 Express on a computer which already has VC2010 Express on it. I've found quite a few people having problems with these two, but always trying to install 2010 after 2008.
However, in my case, I'm designing a program in Qt, which does not have support for 2010 yet, so I need to install '08 on this computer. The problems I face are very similar to others I've seen in other threads, but none of the solutions worked.
- I downloaded the online installer but it fails to download the pre-requisites.
- I then downloaded the offline version, which fails at installing these.
- I've checked and certified that my username has full administrative powers over this computer.
- In one of the msdn support pages, I found a link to a separate download of the pre-reqs. That worked. Now the offline installer doesn't show the pre-reqs as something to install, but simply dies at the next thing, which I believe is the Light Debugger.
- I've checked "Services" to see that the .NET framework and Windows Installer are active. They are.
- I've cleared the %temp% folder, which helped in no way.

Hi w4sabi,
When did your issue occur?
According to your description, I think you should provide more detail error information to help us analysis your question better.
Could you please follow the following steps to collect the log files for further troubleshooting?
- Try to clean your "%temp%" folder (Start Menu >> Run >> Type "%temp%")
- Install VS Express 2008
(The installer must be run with administrator privileges - Right-click the installer >> "Run as Administrator")
- Collect the logs from "%temp%" folder

The error is similar to many others I've found on the Internet:
The installer fails on the very first file it tries to install. At first it was the Pre-requisites, but I found a file through another MSDN page that installed those separately. However, now the installer fails on the Debugger (which is usually installed right after the pre-req's).
I took a screenshot to show that I ran as an Administrator.

To the left, the "Run As..." dialog. To the right, the Security Tab showing my username has full administrative rights over this computer.
And here you can check my logs:

Hi w4sabi,
Thank you for reply.
Was your question resolved?
I downloaded and checked log file, but it isn’t an entire one. Could you please clean %TEMP% folder and re-collect installation log file and send it to me? (v-xugong AT Microsoft.com)
Best Regards,
