    hi All

I am having problem burning the downloaded Visual Studio 2008 Express iso file onto DVD.

I downloaded Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Express and tried to burn the iso file onto DVD using Nero, and got this error from Nero:
"Sorry, your compilation cannot be written on this kind of disc. Please insert a disc of the correct type or modify the settings of your compilation to make it compatible with the current disc."

I am using Vista Home Premium edition.  The strange thing is I could burn the full MSDN library iso file (not the express version) onto DVD on my machine.

    Any advice?

    Thank you.

    Paul

First, try ISO Recorder from here: http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/isorecorder.htm
Second, if that doesn't work, try a different DVD-R.

ISO Recorder does not work with DVDs in XP; Why doesn't Microsoft change the disk type to DVD? Then it would work with all DVD recording software. Seems that they started with a CD ISO and then added files.
