Step 5 of Using Visual C++ 2005 Express Edition with Microsoft Platform SDK requires editing of the AppSettings.htm file.  Because of problems with my Visual C++ Express Edition, I decided to remove and reinstall Visual C++ and the SDK Platform.  However, when I reinstalled Visual C++ Express Edition and the SKD Platform, the AppSetting file is now HTML file instead of a htm file.  How can I recover?

Hi,

I don't think that there's a difference between the .HTM and .HTML format.

You should be able to edit the .HTML file without any problem, in the same way you'd edit the .HTM file
