setup.exe has stopped working

Question

hi, i tried to install VS 2008 but once i downloaded everything and it started to install but then i came up with setup.exe has stopped working... so can anyone plz help me fix this because i really need to learn C++

Does it disapear?

You might want to try offline installation.

To create an installation DVD for Visual Studio Express Edition, please see the Offline Installation Instructions on the Express site.

hi, and no it doesnt dissappear it just comes up with setup.exe is not responding then comes up with the page that says all the things it didnt install

and with the .iso files thing where is the picture to download, do you have to have a disk to do it and how do you download the .iso image?

Hi,

Please download the iso file from at the end of the page:
http://www.microsoft.com/express/download/#webInstall

Then you can open it with virtual cd tool and install it.

no not yet but i have a plan to wait to the end of the month(when internet reset) because the .iso is a massive download

or

 get my WD portable hard drive fixed and get the program from my school because this is not gonna install online
