But trying to open the product and enter the key will not let me continue.

Asked me to request a key ( again ?)

Hi Carlos,

Welcome to the MSDN.

You can try reinstalling Visual Studio as it sounds like a file may be corrupted. After you reinstall, try the product key again to see if it works correctly. If that doesn't work, try receiving a new product key. And if worst comes to worst, you may have an Operating System issue where you would need to reinstall your current version of Windows.

I've done two steps

I have re installed the product and I applied for a new key.

This time he accepted it and I enter to Visual Basic

please have tried all my best to get the registration key but all my effort proofs abortive

I do not know if I´m  understanding you correctly.

1 uninstalled the product (Visual Basic 2010 Express)

Then, from zero,  I ´ve down loaded again and it was without running.

Off line, I installed the product

I asked again for the registration key

and at this time was accepted and it runs as "licensed product"

I'm with Windows 7 Starter
