Visual Studio Express registration (came with textbook)

Question

I recently received a dvd for Visual Studio 2010 Express with the Visual Basic textbook for my class.  I installed it yesterday, and instead of the 30 days to use before registering that the publisher (Pearson) states, my program (and school assignment) were closed today and I was told I had to register to keep using it.  I clicked to "obtain a registration key online", filled in my name, location, etc., and clicked "next" but the next page never loads and therefore I never get a registration key.  I have closed and reentered the info many times and still nothing. 

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!  I am having difficulty with this class as it is!

After reading through similar questions in the forum (yes, I should have done this first), I switched my default browser from IE to Chrome, and was able to obtain the key... it's ridiculous, though, that such a problem should occur with such a common browser.
