Locked Product Backlog Item Disappears from Current Sprint Page(in the Team Web Access!)

  • Friday, August 03, 2012 10:20 AM

Team Project on TFS latest RC, based on Scrum 2.0 Template.

Add a new Product Backlog Item => it appears in the current sprint.
Add a new Bug => appears as a second item.

Associate the Bug to the Product Backlog Item with correct Parent-Child Relation:
=> The PBI disappears in the list!

Whats going wrong? Seems to be a bug of the current sprint view in the web
because its correct shown in Visual Studio.

    regards

    Hi ThomasG,

    Thank you for your post.

As the word in your side is not english, i take thing in my side as an example, it will help for other members who have the same issue.

By default, click Product Backlog, it query out all items belong to RequirementCategory among this team project. For Scrum 2.0, RequirementCategory contains PBI and Bug. So, when you click Product Backlog, all PBIs and Bugs show out, no matter what sprint they are belong to.

Click Sprint1/2/..., it query out all items belong to RequirementCategory under Sprint1/2/....

You will find Iteration are different when you add a new PBI and a Bug. For a new PBI, its iteration is team project name. For a newbug, its iteration point to a sprint, like Sprint1. So, new a PBI, it appears under Product Backlog, new a bug, it appears under a sprint.

it seems to be a bug in the process template....
