Hi kknjkoc,
Thank you for your post.
I test the issue in my side, i only install VS 2010+VS 2010 SP1+KB2662296, bu the link is not work.
When there is VS 2012 RTM install on the machine, the link can work properly. I think the link can work only when install VS 2012 on the machine. Please also take a look at this post on the Microsoft Connect site: http://connect.microsoft.com/VisualStudio/feedback/details/749556/open-new-instance-of-visual-studios-fails-and-shows-broken-link#detailsIf anything is unclear, please free feel to let me know.

Hi,
Yes that link is tied to VS2012. When you click on that, it will try to open VS2012. If you are using VS2010 then you have to manually open VS2010 and connect to your TFS Preview.
Thanks

You should have VS2010 SP1 and then install KB 2662296 from below link

Can you check if you have VS SP1 installed?
Open VS->Help->About Visual studio
Paste the output here

Hi kknjköç,
Your VS2010 is still on RTM version. Please apply SP1(http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=23691) first and apply the kb2662296 again.
Here is the version info we should have for your reference:
