    Luis,

Would you like to troubleshoot this further with us, or would you like to speak with your network people at work to see if they can help? Please let us know how you'd like to proceed with this thread.

It can be closed for now, depending on the company and network where I am it works fine, and because I wont be long in this company anymore, I dont really care about solving it.  I might reopen it again if I face it again in another network,

    Hi Luis,

Probably is too late for this reply but it could be helpful for more people with the same problem. I suppose you were using VS 2010 at the moment.

I had the same issue a few days ago and the only way to fix it was through a visual studio SP1 patch installation.

    These are the details:

Visual Studio 2010 SP1 Team Foundation Server 2012 Compatibility GDR

Thanks Felipe. I know this is an old post, but your reply solved this problem on my company-machine. I was also under the impression that it had to do with the proxy-settings but installing KB2662296 indeed fixed the problem. I can now successfully connect to TFS through SSL on visualstudio.com.
