I have 2 copies of One Note. One on my Fusion Win 7 on Mac and One on Win7 desktop.

I worked for a week on a document. Both one notes would not sync because it had been 35 days since last sync. But after I shared the folders with Skydrive again they Sync'd.

When I closed OneNote and reopened it deleted my information!@!!!!!!!!

When I search for the page "Timeline" it shows a listing but tells me "Cannot path to location"

How do I restore this huge amount of work???? Is it lost forever?

Wow a program this important should not just delete files when you try to back up!

Do a C: drive search for OneNoteOfflineCache.onecache.  That should have all your data in it.  The path to this file should been, unhide from Control Panel)\Local\Microsoft)

Wow, not sure what happened to my 1st reply but it appears as though some of my text was deleted.  The path that I was trying to give for the onenote cache file should be C:\users\your username\App Data\Local\Microsoft\.  Just look for that onenoteoffiline cache file and it should have a temp copy of your data.  Hope that helps.
