Windows 7 RC: Is it possible to switch audio output of applications on a per display basis?I really am falling in love with 7, something that never happened with Vista and only grudgingly with XP abiet only because I was so attatched to DOS. All that aside, Since XP I've wanted to set my audio outputs to match my display outputs. I could see situations where some users would find that behaviour unfavorable, it seems most people want to set the out put on a per application basis, but I wouldn't want to switch even those settings when I change seats. I think matching audio outputs to video makes more sense then audio will always play from the same output you would expect when an application is on that display, almost natural, definately stress free. Hotkeys to send the focused App to different displays would be heavenly too.© 2009 Microsoft Corporation.
