Geneva Roadmap and pricing
- Is there a full release roadmap/timeline for Geneva. And will this all be free or is there going to be a pricing model behind the server component?
Answers
- Hi Jason,
We released Beta 1 this past Monday October 27th. We plan to release a second beta in the first half of calendar 2009, and we plan to RTM in the second half of calendar 2009.
All of the "Geneva" components (Server, Framework, and Windows CardSpace "Geneva") will be Windows components and available to Windows licensees at no additional charge.
Cheers,

- Hi Kwan,
Hope I am posting on a right place.
I have been working with MS HPC team to establish a distributed MS HPC testbed at several Universities (UKY, USU, Cornell, SURA, RENCI, etc.). And I am really looking for a solution to manage the access management issues related to those HPC clusters, and also I am working on a roadmap to federate this MS testbed with our current SURAgrid (globus based grid).
A friend mentioned Geneva, and I went to our website, trying to download the VM images, but the base.zip seems damaged, I can only download 2G. Is the grid-grid federation on the roadmap of Geneva? My email is dwang@sura.org
