Yesterday (on 15. December 2012) I paid for "Bing Search API – Web Results Only", but can not use it because I get "403 - Forbidden: Access is denied" error. In datamarket.azure.com there is the same problem when I try to use the API via web-frontend, see
screenshot on https://dl.dropbox.com/u/4263334/bing_problem.tiff
I tried again, but the problem still exists. I get the "403 - Forbidden: Access is denied." error message. I looked on my Data-Sets (https://dl.dropbox.com/u/4263334/bing_datasets.tiff). The "Bing Search API – Web Results Only" have the State "Aktivierung"
(on German it means "Activating"). May be it is the reason why the API does not work?? But then why it is not activated?
The 403 error usually means the Bing account key is not correct.
The Key what I used in code is correct, I checked it many times. I think the problem is on Microsoft side because on API frontend I get the same error message (see screenshot on https://dl.dropbox.com/u/4263334/bing_problem.tiff )
> Yes, "Activating" is the issue. We had few customers stuck in it in a last couple of days.
Max, thank you for your help.
