Different searchresults between bing.de and Bing API?

Question

Why do I get different results between bing.de and Bing API when searching, for example, for "sushi" in Germany only?
Bing.de:
http://www.bing.de/search?q=sushi&rf=1&cc=de

Bing Api:
https://api.datamarket.azure.com/Bing/Search/v1/Composite?$format=json&Sources='web'&Query='sushi+(loc:DE)'

Hi QinDian,

thank you for the answer. But I think I'm a bit inaccurate in the formulation of my question. What I do not understand is the great difference in the number of hits I get with the above search:
4440 -> number of results with Bing Api (https://api.datamarket.azure.com/Bing/Search/v1/Composite?$format=json&Sources=%27web%27&Query=%27sushi+%28loc:DE%29%27)
1.420.000 -> number of results with bing.de (http://www.bing.com/search?q=sushi+loc%3Ade)

Can you advise me what can be changed in the api call above to get a similar number of hits?

Hi,

Have you tried Market property as a querystring in url:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd251064.aspx

Market='de-DE'
