Bing Search Response Question

Question

Maybe I misread this at first ...

ID. A result set/unique ID for this row.

Is this really telling me that if I execute 2 searches using the same query, the ID for the same content in each response will be different?  This is what I am observing.  Why the effort of a GUID if it changes?
