"Parameter: Query is not of type String" from Web SourceType

Question

My code for using the web search API suddenly stopped working a couple of hours ago.

I've simplified it to the following test case: 

https://api.datamarket.azure.com/Bing/Search/Web?Query=test

The above, when logged in with my usual credentials, returns simply the string

Parameter: Query is not of type String

I've no idea how to debug this. What next?

Try with this:

https://api.datamarket.azure.com/Bing/Search/v1/Web?Query=%27test%27
