I am now getting the following connection error from my server, I have also tried using an IP address with the same timeout.
"ssl://api.datamarket.azure.com:443. Error: Connection timed out".
My transaction limit has not been reached, and I am able to make successful queries from my home computer.
Is there a chance that my server IP address has been blocked?
Is this consistent or temporarily?
We normally do not block with connection time out error on throttling, so this may be related to your internal networking issues.

This issue has now been resolved and was caused by an internal network security system that had marked the traffic as suspicious.
