I'm a student trying to install masm on my laptop so I can work on my assembly language homework outside of the lab. I've done a bunch of searching online and I've installed Visual C++ 2005 Express, MASM 8.0, and MASM32 and I can't seem to get the assembler to work correctly.
Can anyone give me an idea of how I should be installing or using masm? What I have installed doesn't work the same way as what I've used previously. I'm able to assemble my .asm files but when I try to link the .obj file I get an error message saying the file does not exist when I can see it in the folder.Friday, November 14, 2008 4:36 AM
I was planning on going over MASM 8.0/MASM32 this winter and a Dark Age of Camelot friend told me about Easy code. He said it had good support and real life examples. I havne't been able to go over it yet. I hope to after Thanksgiving.Friday, November 14, 2008 5:58 AM
