how to restart Biztalk Service

    Question

  • Microsoft BizTalk Server Configuration Wizard
    ------------------------------

Adding BAM Tools to an already configured BizTalk Group requires that you restart the BizTalk Service for that group. (BAMTools)

    --------------------------------------------------------

So, my question is pretty simple: How to do it?

    Windows Server 2008 R2 St.

  • Hi,

You can restart host instance through BizTalk Administration Console --> Platform Settings --> Host Instances --> Right click host instance and click restart. You can also go to services in control panel --> administrative services --> services and find host instance and restart.

  • Four ways:

    1. In BizTalk Administration Console.

    2. Run command mstsc to open system services.

    3. Run command net start + [servicename]

4.If you use VS, you can go to deployment option to restart.

  • 1. Open Services.msc from Run, and identify services that start with name "BizTalk Serveice BizTalk Group : ", Right click on it, and select Restart.

    2. Open Btsmmc.msc from Run, Click on Biztalk Group -> Platform Settings -> Host Instances -> Select All Inprocess Host instance type, and right click -> Recycle.

    3. Using "Net Stop Btssvc$BizTalkServerApplication" followed by "Net Start Btssvc$BizTalkServerApplication".
