  • Hi akhilesh,

    Based on my research, Portlets are Java-based Web components, managed by a portlet container, that process requests and generate dynamic content. If we want to develop SSRS Porlets, we can integrate SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) with java application to use the Reporting Services Web services. We start it from here:
    http://www.craigsprogramming.com/2011/03/how-to-integrate-java-with-microsoft_4178.html

    Follow the procedure mentioned in that. Make a jar of all the generated class files and put it in your portlet.

    If you face authentication error (401) then add

    <RSWindowsBasic>
    <LogonMethod>3</LogonMethod>
    <Realm></Realm>
    <DefaultDomain></DefaultDomain>
    </RSWindowsBasic>

    in your rsreportserver.config under reportserver for basic authentication with SSRS.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,
