ole idispatch exception error code 0 from dtpicker : Invalid property value

    General discussion

  • Hi all,

in my gridbox there is 2 columns and i had added datetimepicker.

somehow i tried to click rows in grid it will pop out above error message.

And from googling result its due to null date but i confirmed the cursor that i selected all date is not null and have value.

Any ideas how to solve it ?

    Thanks,

    Jeff.

  • The datetimepicker can't handle empty dates, either. Marcia Akins has published a nice subclass of that control that handles empty and null dates properly. I don't whether it's on her website, but it's included in the downloads for her book "MegaFox": http://www.hentzenwerke.com/catalog/megafox.htm

  • Hi Tamar,

Thanks. BUt i dont understand all the date is not empty for the cursor.

Why it will get null values ?

    Thanks,

    Jeff.

  • Are you adding any new, empty records? That would give you an empty date.

  • No user only can select from the gridbox.

There is no adding new record .

    Thanks,

    Jeff.
