Can I use generic wireless joystick input to control my robot?

    Question

  • Hi,

I would like to use my generic wireless joystick to my robot. Does the Robotic Studio 2008 has a built-in controller like serial communication port in vs05/08? My joystick uses usb.

Any controller for wireless video, audio?

I haven't explored yet the api's or library of Robotics Studio 2008, but can you give me some common features that I need?

I hope you guys can achieve this.

Thank you very much in advance and more power!

  • RDS supports game controllers, i.e. joysticks, as long as they work with DirectX and are visible to the operating system. I have use LogiTech USB joysticks for example.

It also supports Xbox controllers, including the wireless version. However I assume you don't have an Xbox controller.
