Sharepoint Calendar Control for DayView (DailyCalendarView) not showing Appointments properly

    Question

  • Hi,

    Refer to below sample Image

I am using Sharepoint Calendar Control for Day View i.e. DailyCalendarView

Its having interval of 30 mins by default

I have to change the interval, to show Appointments having small duration

Its not showing the appointments properly as per Start and End Time

Ex:- 1) Appointment starting from 06:00 AM to 06:10 AM (duration 10 mins)

           2) Appointment starting from 06:20 AM to 10:10 AM (duration 230 mins)

It should be displayed as highlighted

    Thank you.

  • Hello,

I checked and in SharePoint Calendar the minimum duration of meeting is 30 mins; this is By-Design. If you wish to submit a change and wish to pursue this, please open up a Premier Support Incident with Microsoft for continued troubleshooting on this issue.

  • Is there any chance you could share your solution, either as code (which would be really great) or the general approach you used, was this just a whole new web part?

  • Is that a reply you guys are trained to use? "By-Design"? Ok, I'll bite, what scenario did you design this for?
