  • Hi,

    can you specify your question a little bit more? Do you want to use this namespace but the assembly is not referenced? If so, check if you're project references the Microsoft.Phone.dll.

  • Then you should reference this assembly, because the namespace Microsoft.Phone.Scheduler lies in this assembly.

  • Normally it should be referenced throught the generation of a Windows Phone project in Visual Studio. You can find the assembly in this folder:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Reference Assemblies\Microsoft\Framework\Silverlight\v4.0\Profile\WindowsPhone\Microsoft.Phone.dll

  • Ok, than you should add a reference to Microsoft.Phone.dll in the following way. Here's a picture how to find the dialog (in this search for the dll):

    After that add a using statement to your code file:

    using Microsoft.Phone.Scheduler;

  • Ok, the right dll (Microsoft.Phone.dll) is referenced in your project (find it under your "References" folder in your project). Remove the first line of your code:
    using Microsoft.Phone.dll;

    In your code you don't reference the assembly directly, you're referencing the namespaces. So remove all using statements in your code which ends on .dll.
    For your problem just type the following using statement:
    using Microsoft.Phone.Scheduler;

    If that doesn't work (but it should be) please post your complete code because your assembly references seem to be correct.

  • Like I said add a reference to Microsoft.Phone.dll (right click on the "References" folder "Add reference"). After that use the following using-statement at the beginning of your code file

    using Microsoft.Phone.Scheduler;<br/>

  • Hi,

    The scheduler is a part of the 7.1 SDK. You will not find it in the 7.0 template. If you need to use this then you have to choose the 7.1 template for yor application. Hope this helps.
