How can you create a unique field in CRM 2011

    Question

  • I need to enter a Unique reference number for all Accounts in the CRM system. however I have no way of verifying they are unique i.e. that another user has not accidentally entered a pre-existing reference number on a new Account. Is this possible and if so please let me know how to create a field that never has duplicate values.
