  •  I'm trying to learn c++ and I ran into my first problem in a simple project. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong please. Thank you.

    According to the output window, your project built fine.

    If you want to see some output, position the cursor on the line with the return statement, and press F9 to set a breakpoint there.
    Then press F5 to start debugging.

  • Add these two statements to your program immediately before return 0;
    cout << endl << "Hit Enter to end the program." << endl;
    cin.get();
    Your program will now pause just before termination, allowing you to see program output in the command window.
