  • Hi Jay,

    Thank you for your post.

Seems you choose to integrate SharePoint Foundation 2010 during TFS 2012 configuration on same server that running windows server 2012. If I have misunderstood anything, please free feel to let me know.

Because TFS 2012 installs SharePoint Foundation 2010 with the standard configuration, you can’t use it on Windows Server 2012. If you want to install Team Foundation Server on Windows Server 2012, use the advanced configuration and skip the installation of SharePoint Foundation 2010. • Hi Jay,

it is true that TFS, will not install SharePoint on Windows Server 2012, however you can install SharePoint yourself on Server 2012 and then configure TFS to use it.

Here is a great article that explains how to install SharePoint on Server 2012 (it is not trivial):

    http://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/SharePoint-2010-and-dee17600

You can find SharePoint installer in c:\Program Files\Microsoft Team Foundation Server 2012\Tools directory.

  • I do not wish to jump through hoops, so I will skip sharepoint for now.
