Heap control in C

    Question

  • Hi,
I've been using a very nice set of native C functions for the heap check, but through Borland C++ 5.5 compiler; these functions are defined into the header file alloc.h.
Since I'm usually developing in Visual Studio (in C#), I'd like to know if there are equivalents - possibly as easy to use as those from Borland - that I could use when I write code in C (native code, non-managed, of course). Or, alternatively, if the alloc.h header has a "wrapper" in the VS C++ compiler.
    Many thanks!
