How to repin Internet Explorer to the start menu?

    Question

  • I have accidentally unpinned "Internet Explorer" app on the start menu, i really like how it looks when opened from there..

Is there any way to find it and pin it again? opening it from the taskbar shows the old normal looking windows :S

  • Hi Skander1345,

the easy way to do is to type Internet Explorer just any where on the Start Screen, click on Applications on the window that crops up on your right, you get the Search result Internet Explorer on the full screen, right-click on it, click on Pin button on the lower right of the Screen. IE is now pinned to your Start Screen.

  • follow the normal method as you would in Windows 7... locate the exe and when you pin to task bar

open from taskbar and use.... next time you go to start screen scowl over to the right .... you should find IE or Control Panel or what ever in the start screen, then move back to where you want it....
