Experiencing problems applying a Business rule add a default value on a domain based attribute

    I am experiencing problems with a business rule that is supposed to default a value of a domain based attribute. Here are 2 screen shots, of the business rule definition and the error message I get when applying the rules to the data set. Can you please review this and maybe you see right away what is wrong with the setup. The business rule had been published when I tried to run it. There are no other published business rules on this entity.

    Hoping to get some pointers to help me out with this.

  • 1. You don't need the condition "is equal to Blank" if you are using the "default to". I sometimes keep it for the sake of clarity.

    2. Have you enabled change tracking?

    You probably have a "changed" business rule running on the Default Vendor, can you confirm?
