Is there a way to display my WP8's screen on a monitor or tv for presentations?

    Question

  • Just like the title asks: Is there a way to display my WP8's screen on a monitor or tv for presentations?

I imagine there is because of the demo's MS has done but I can't find documentation on how to do it.

    TIA

  • The Windows Phone specification does not include support for video output.

  • Using an emulator on a laptop/tablet etc could work.

All the presentations I've seen so far use a camera projector to show the device, screen and the hands of the presenter to show gesture.

I've used products from Soti in the past to replicate/mirror screens. I don't think they support WP8 yet.

Perhaps MSFT has some unreleased features coming to mirror over the network...

That is disappointing. iOS works over AirPlay. Opportunity perhaps?
