Reactive Query Applications with failover (or Master Slave)

    Question

  • Hello,

I have an application that is running a reactive query. I want to give failover capability to the application.

I understand the following things to take into consideration

    a) PlayBack of events from the source

    b) persisting the message id at the entry of the reactive query,

but I am unable to understand, what i need to do to save state inside the reactive query

Can anyone suggest, what according to you are the things which needs to be taken care of -

    regards

  • I had similar though when I started using Reactive; I do log the state before giving the object to reactive query. But inside the query on every stage you can log the object status and save the latest state indatabase (i.e you object will have unique identifier). This way if there is error you can reconsruct your input source.
