We're sorry. Microsoft HealthVault Connection Center is not supported in your location.

    Question

  • Hello,

I am a developer based in the UK. I am trying to submit data from Microlife Digital Peak Flow & Fev1 Meter using the Connection Center app. It works fine when I submit the data against the live account - HealthVault-UK item in the Sevices dropdown in the app, but when I change it to PPE I get to login and then I get an error message saying  "We're sorry. Microsoft HealthVault Connection Center is not supported in your location.". I am not sure when I did wrong. Could you advise please?

  • Based on the information you provided, we think the problem is a mismatch between your account location and the location of the PPE instance. There are a couple ways you can resolve this issue:

    1. Create a new HealthVault account and set the account location to United States. Using this account will allow Connection Center to work with the PPE environment in the U.S.

    2. Use the PPE environment in the EU. To do so, edit the Connection Center configuration file:

    •    Edit the file config_ppe.xml in this folder:

       32-bit system: %PROGRAMFILES%\Microsoft HealthVault\Connection Center\Services
       64-bit system: %PROGRAMFILES(X86)%\Microsoft HealthVault\Connection Center\Services

    • Update the values of serverUrl and shellUrl to match the following:

          <serverUrl>https://platform.healthvault-ppe.co.uk/platform/wildcat.ashx</serverUrl>
          <shellUrl>https://account.healthvault-ppe.co.uk/</shellUrl>

    • Exit (from the Tools menu) and re-start Connection Center
